Regional Advocacy Director, Southwest and Midwest
Brad Galbraith serves as ExcelinEd’s Regional Advocacy Director for the Southwest and Midwest regions, which primarily covers the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska. Brad spent the last six years with the office of former New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez. He began his tenure with the Governor’s office as a policy analyst and most recently served as the Assistant Chief of Staff. In these roles, he managed Cabinet Secretaries and Directors in overseeing and directing executive agencies, trained cabinet agency staff on the legislative process, and lead policy analysts in developing, tracking and advocating for legislative priorities. Previously, Brad was an attorney for the New Mexico General Services Department in the Risk Management Division. Brad has a Juris Doctor degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Arizona State University. He is based in Arizona.
