Iowa Expands Opportunities for Students to Access Schools that Best Meet Their Needs

Iowa
Opportunity

Thousands of Iowa students will have access to more educational opportunities thanks to an expansion of the successful Student Tuition Organization tax credit program. Governor Kim Reynolds signed HF 2641, which increases the cap on the program to meet the demand of underserved students to attend a school that is a best fit for their needs.

“Regardless of income or ZIP code, families deserve the power to find the best educational fit for their children’s unique needs, putting them on the path to success in career and life. Already, nearly 11,000 Iowa students have benefited from the Student Tuition Organization tax credit program, and the demand for educational opportunities continues to grow.

“We commend the leadership of Governor Kim Reynolds, Representative Chris Hagenow and Senator Jake Chapman for championing this program and working diligently on behalf of Iowa students and their families.”
