The Regional Advocacy Director promotes the Foundation’s education policy agenda with state policymakers and in-state advocacy partners. The Director is responsible for executive and legislative branch outreach and engagement, tracking executive and legislative action and communicating regularly with lawmakers, policymakers and state advocates to educate, promote and advance the Foundation’s policy agenda. The Regional Advocacy Director builds relationships and coalitions with state leaders and in-state partner organizations. This position will oversee a portfolio of states, with a primary focus in Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina and South Carolina.
