Vicki Murray

Vicki Murray is Associate Director of Education Studies at the Pacific Research Institute in Sacramento, California. She is also a Senior Fellow at the Independent Women’s Forum in Washington, D.C., where serves as the director of IWF’s Women for School Choice Project. Dr. Murray is the former director of the Goldwater Institute Center for Educational Opportunity in Phoenix, Arizona.  She has served as an advisor to state legislators and policymakers, as well as the U.S. Department of Education, on education reform.  Prior to her career in education policy, Dr. Murray taught college-level courses. Dr. Murray received her Ph.D. in politics from the Institute of Philosophic Studies at the University of Dallas, where she was an Earhart Foundation Fellow.
