Excellence in Action

Excellence in Action is turning reform into reality. The program supports Governors, lawmakers, statewide education officials, business leaders and reform advocates in their efforts to initiate, advance and adopt reforms that improve the quality of education in classrooms across our nation.

The initiative uses five strategies, each one complementing and leveraging the other:

National Summit on Education Reform 

Providing a forum for leaders to learn what works, what doesn’t and what’s next.

State Initiatives 

Supporting reform, primarily based on the success of the Florida Formula on Student Achievement, on the ground – in legislatures, boards of education – whenever and wherever reform is happening or possible.

Digital Learning Now! 

Harnessing the power of technology to customize education for each and every student in the nation.

Chiefs for Change

A coalition of state school chiefs that share a zeal for reform that leads to rising student achievement.
